In the performance of my duties as a Director of the MSPA Americas Board of Directors, I acknowledge that I may have access to privileged and confidential information which may come before the Board of Directors from time to time.
I will restrict my use of such information at all times to the performance of my duties. I will not discuss any privileged and confidential information, or otherwise reveal or disclose information pertaining to matters before the MSPA Americas Board of Directors, except when in direct contact with other federal, state or local agencies, and then only for the purpose of assisting the service recipient or for providing information required by state and federal regulations.
I hereby acknowledge my obligation to respect the privacy and the confidentiality of the information pertaining to privileged and confidential information which may come before the MSPA Americas Board of Directors from time to time and to exercise good faith and integrity in protecting such information from public or private disclosure outside of the members of the Board of Directors. While not all matters present before the MSPA Americas Board of Directors is deemed privileged and confidential information, I understand that any unauthorized use or disclosure of information pertaining to privileged and confidential information which may come before the Board of Directors may result in my immediate suspension and/or dismissal from the MSPA Americas Board of Directors. If I am unsure as to whether any matter presented before the MSPA Americas Board of Directors is deemed privileged and confidential information, I recognize that it is my sole responsibility to clarify the status of whether or not such matter is in fact deemed privileged and confidential information with the current Board Chair before disclosing such information outside of the MSPA Americas Board of Directors.
This confidentiality obligation survives my tenure on the board unless and until such time as any specific privileged and confidential information has been officially made public by the MSPA Americas Board of Directors.
